Add role to group membership, but without notification?

Howdy  - I believe the only option to prevent the email from going out would be to temporarily disable the Group Membership Added notification. Of course that would also prevent others from getting that email while it is disabled.

  It might be too late, but if you want all employees to have access (versus being members), you can go to the Site Role for Employees (assuming you have one) in the group's permissions and enable things like "read group," "read forum," "view group name in lists," etc. So they'll be able to perform all of those actions, but not be "members"
