Calendar - Some users see two times for event

We have a section of our forums that use the calendar function to schedule events that users can register for. Some users are seeing the US Central time, which we want, while others see the US Central Time and the UCT time. What would cause this and how can I fix it?

The first line is the time of the event in the time zone it was created in. The second line is in the user's timezone (if it differs from the event time zone). If the second line does not reflect the correct time zone for the user, they would need to go into their settings and set their time zone to the correct value.
