Question On Bypass Blog Post Permission

Hi,

I wanted to know if I can pull content from blog posts which have "Read Blog" permission under "Everyone" (Non Logged In) users ticked off.  When I am testing it without logging in, it says no blog posts found but when I log in it shows up the posts. Is there any way to show content on my widget from the restricted blog when I am not logged in with such permission enabled?

by ticked off, you mean the permission is not enabled? if so, anonymous will not be able to read it. If you want to show these posts to anonymous, it's probably best to adjust the permissions to explicitly allow that. Otherwise, you're stuck doing a hacky workaround like allowing your widget to run code as a privileged user, which completely bypasses the built in permission system.
