Multiple web server filestorage location

We have multiple CD servers with Telligent and those servers are no in an Active Directory. Which mean we cant use DFS.

  • We have tried using the Azure blog storage, but this seems to be designed more for a quick move and not for long term file storage location.
  • We have also tried UNC path to one server, but we get UNC errors from the server with the local file server. Maybe this is designed for a NAS and all servers read from the UNC?

I am just wondering how everyone else does multi server filestorage for Telligent.

    It can be in Azure as you have found, it is a complete solution not temporary, though generally its better if the servers are in Azure or its a complete Azure installation.  Otherwise you have to use a UNC share or some other centralized disk location, or a replicated set.  You can't have multiple folders.    In terms of UNC errors, that is going to have to be something you work with your IT to ensure the appropriate availability and security.
