Organizing the media gallery

Question

We are using the media gallery as the place to directly access files, rather than from a widget. Is there a way to create folders or categorize the types of media as you cannot add 2 media galleries to one group? We have one set of media that is product guides and another set which is webinar recordings and want the two to be separate.

Hi Jason - you can create any number of applications in an group including multiples of the same type. Check out this training section on gallery management

 Once you create the galleries you want and name them to reflect the type of materials or categories of materials, you can put a widget on a page in the group. 
 Manage Group Theme, Edit this Page, Widget name is Media Gallery- Browse Media Galleries. Drop that where you want it and it&rsquo;s configurable. You can Filter to Group = Current Group.
