Auto lock on migrated forum threads

Auto locking depends on the date of the last reply for a thread.  It doesn't check the date of the actual replies, but it's a property on the thread itself.  If they were imported, it's possible this date was not reflecting the date from the original source.

The only workaround would be to programmatically use one of our API's to identify these threads and to update the thread and set the IsLocked property.

Hi Brian Dooley , I'm circling back on this former question because I think I may have access to some developer assistance on this end to help me tackle a few open issues. Can you tell me what would be involved with setting the above up? Is it an automation? 

It could be done via the REST API or an automation. If there is any criteria you can use to determine these older threads, the general process is looping on all of the affected threads and then updating the ones that should be locked by setting the IsLocked property.
