Get content view

Currently views are available only in certain applications directly on the API objects (i.e. forumThread.ViewCount).  There is already work under way for the next 11.1 hotfix to expose the View Counts directly from the ContentViews APIs that can be retrieved by ContentId and ContentTypeId.

Is there way we can get that hot fix for "11.1.5.13464" , we are waiting for it. 

One more question is it unique view ? or just count number of views regardless of the user id ?
