Changing header navigation on forum pages

Hi there,

Wondering if there is a way to remove the auto nesting in the header banner when navigating from a group to a forum within it? I tried unselected the 'Parent Navigation' option in Forum Settings, which didn't change anything.

Essentially, I want to direct members back to a custom page that contains the forum threads rather than the forum page itself for navigation purposes.

For example, instead of the header banner populating:

"Group > Forum Name [link to forum page]"

It should show as:

"Group > Forum Name [link to custom page]"  OR

[Header] "Group"
[Sub Nav] < Return to [Forum Name]

Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Navigation is controlled in the Group - Banner widget, you could alter/override the logic there to link to your custom page instead. Keep in mind that would change every Group Banner widget on the site, you you might want to include it as a configuration field

I think the Parent Navigation option you're referring to is an option on the Group Banner, and it's only for allowing a nested group to display a link to its parent.
