Websocket requirement for PAAS solution

Hello,

Is the option to use Websockets in the PAAS version a must-use requirement? Or does it also have the fallback long polling as in the on-premise version?

All of our installs require a socket bus.

Thank Brian for answering my question. We currently have an issue where our enterprise web application firewall does not allow Websocket traffic. I was curious to see if a fallback mechanism (Azure PAAS hosted) is triggered when this is blocked.

We do support the Azure Service Bus.
