Regarding Forum Views Behavior

Hi Rishi, thanks for your question! Was there a lag time (delay) between when you opened the thread and also when you viewed the list of threads view count? I am currently not seeing a discrepancy so want to make sure you opened the thread and compared views at the same time, that will help our investigation.

I also checked other threads in this forum to be sure and the views lined up as I would expect. Thank you!

It still shows incorrect for me

Ok thank you for confirming! Does this happen for you on any other thread or just that one?

It happens to most of the threads. I have tested it out on incognito as well same issue.

Thank you again for your quick response and helping me figure this out! I am going to share with our internal teams to have a look and will report back with what we find.

Following up here as this occurs when there is server side caching taking place. Clearing out the cache in the admin panel brings the views back in sync. Of note, this affected threads getting new view counts within that cache period, this evened out eventually and the view counts aligned.

That said - we have a bug filed for this to check on the widget within the threads themselves since they were lower than on the forum thread list. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention!
