Is there any way to assign email addresses @mydomain.com to Community members, so that email sent to username@mydomain.com gets forwarded to the user's email address?
We don't extensibly expose our method of doing this via mailing lists for blogs and forums. There may be solutions that fall outside the realm of the Community product, for instance provisioning aliases in an in-house mail server.
