Can you turn on moderation for submitting calendar events?

Just wondering if there is a way to turn on moderation for the events calendar, so that when a member submits an event it goes into moderation for approval?

Currently calendar does not support moderation, but as of the the latest 11 service release will still be subject to any abuse detection
