Can we add a custom font into the generic content default font list?

We would like to use our own custom font to identify headings and other aspects of the site. Can we we add a custom font into the generic content default font list?

Custom fonts cannot be added to the list currently. We do have a bug tracking this issue, it has not been scheduled for a release at this time. You can track the progress here:
