No, that was what I was thinking but didn't quite know which objects were considered "containers"
The group would be the container. If all you have is a group id, you can get the group's container guid from the group's object.
#set ($group = $core_v2_group.Get("%{ Id = $groupId }")) #set ($groupContainerId = $group.ContainerId)
