What's the Best Practice for referencing Telligent DLLs?

Question

When creating In-Process Plugins, what is the best practice for referencing Telligent.Evolution.*.dll files? I'd love it if they were available in a public or private NuGet repository or something, but barring that, should I just create a \Lib directory in my VS solution and copy the .dll files from my Telligent Web folder? 
 Secondly, is there a link or something where I can track Telligent version updates so that I can make sure my dev instance and corresponding references are up to date?

I don't believe we have a nuget repository available, so a Lib folder would be the suggested method. The Release Notes are probably the best way to track released versions. A few are linked below:
