Is there a way to reduce padding in blog title

Richard Dotson, I did some testing on a vanilla environment but haven't found a fix yet. You can try these areas

The "before"

If you go to Pencil -> Manage Blog Theme -> Edit this Page and then to the Blog Banner widget, there are some options, but I couldn't get the "Custom Height" to adjust as I expected it to

I can keep looking, but maybe if it doesn't work, it's a good case for a support ticket

Thanks John. I was trying that and it didn't really work well for me. I'm looking for a theme wide change. Thanks. 

Unfortunately, it appears the custom height setting is overridden by this style rule from the site theme's format-banner.less file:

.no-cover {
	.banner.application {
		min-height: 176px;
	}
}

This could be adjusted to control the default min-height across the entire theme.
