how to deploy telligent on azure web app?

As for installation, what issues are you having?  The instructions won't go into how to set up architecture in Azure.  Much like our installation docs requiring you have a functional knowledge of a .NET web infrastructure, the Azure docs assume you have a working knowledge of Azure infrastructure.

As per instruction for Job Server setup we need "Telligent.Jobs.AzureWebJobs.cmd" file and it can be found in azure package but i can't see such file in provided azure package. I have asked the same to support. I have azure package "TelligentAzure-1.0.43" so just want to confirm from you Is this is correct package version for telligent azure installation? 

This file can be found in the Telligent Community folder under JobServer. It is not inside the Azure installation archive.

Please also ensure you are using https://community.telligent.com/community/11/w/user-documentation/62986/how-do-i-deploy-my-site-to-microsoft-azure as your documentation source as I have conducted some updates to those instructions as they pertain to v11.

Hi Patrick, I am facing issue connection string. I am getting below exception

The ConnectionString property has not been initialized.

According to azure installation steps we need to set up specific connection as per given instruction did that but still i am getting this error.

One thing i noticed the name for each connection string is different in azure installation steps and in on premise installation. There is no separate file provided in azure installation package. Can you please guide on this ?

Just resolved the issue, apart from rest connection as per document i have added one more "SiteUrl" which resolved my issue. Actually i enabled custom errors then i got the exception which helped me to identify the exact issue.

I'm hitting issues setting up Telligent in Azure.. it's failing to connect to the d/b, and I could do with some extra error logging in the Web App.. how did you enable custom errors? ganesh

Hi Matt, you can enable errors in web.config by setting customErrors mode off which will show you detailed error on web application it self. Once you went live you can change it back to RemoteOnly. Please let me know if you need more help on this.
