Supplemental group files

Question

Hi. We are upgrading from 10.1 to 11.1. On our 11.1 dev site I noticed that in the Manage Site Theme > Theme Options > Supplementary files tab, there doesn't seem to be a way to get the file information. Here are a couple of screen captures first is the 10.1 views, then the 11.1 view. In 10.1 there is an edit option that opens the information for each supplemental file. Not there in 11.1. Clicking on the file name doesn't do anything. Am I missing something?

This is related to the introduction of Theme Studio in 10.2 with a completely new theming model where themes are scripted similar to widgets with their own Theme Studio. And like widgets, they both define the configuration options they make available to administrators as well as even define any special property templates (the replacement for control types) for configuring custom complex configuration fields. A theme's configuration-defined options are made available to users via the new Theme Options panel. 
 On an out-of-the-box theme in 10.2 or later, there are no supplemental files options made available for the theme, as the theme itself can have files attached to it in theme studio. However, to maintain backward compatibility, legacy themes are migrated into the new theming format. And as part of that migration, if there were supplemental files defined in the old theme, then those are migrated within the new theme as files attached to the theme via theme configuration. And then to edit those files, the theme is, itself, defining a property template for modifying that file list. That property template may not be as robust as pre-theme studio. 
 This is all to say that the best path forward is to move away from supplemental files altogether and to just add them to the theme. Then you can remove the theme's custom property template for modifying this file list as well.
