Online Swag Store

I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully integrated a swag shop into a Telligent community?  The solution I am envisioning would serve two purposes.  First as an store with a paywall where users could purchase branded items like shirts and headsets.  Secondly the community managers could issue gift certificates or vouchers to people in the community that they could use in the store, as a way to encourage pro-community behaviors such as answering questions.  A major plus would be if there could be an automated integration between community gamification and swag store credit.  Any information will be gladly appreciated.

    Hi Scott. Our professional services team did a POC with Influitive 2016, but I don’t recall that project going past the POC phase. It had to do with Leaderboards, Badges, and Points.

    Today, we do have customizations for large oil and gas company where Users can trade in their points for branded merchandise, but that’s a very low feature customization. I wouldn’t call it an integration. Users can select an item, enter their address, and it will deduct points for the item and send an email to the fulfillment company. 

    Happy to share the details and collect more requirements to see what may be reusable for you.

    Hey Jon,

    Thanks for the reply.  That is an interesting approach.  What I'm finding is that swag stores truly integrated into external communities is actually a pretty rare scenario. 

    Hoping we have the opportunity in the future to work on this together.
