How to impersonate user via widget API?

Question

I had heard that there a new widget API was added to allow impersonation, like creating a Thread as another user. Can someone point me to that API, or perhaps I am mistaken?

Yes, you can specify the username or that you want to run as the service account when calling core_v2_widget.ExecuteFile
