While the server components of Telligent Community Mobile can be accessed from a desktop browser, the application is designed specifically for Safari on iOS 6+, the stock browser on Android 4.1+, and Chrome on Android 4.1+. Some functionality and styling of Telligent Community Mobile will not appear to be correct when using a desktop browser.
This guide provides suggestions and tips for debugging an application built using Telligent Community Mobile.

Remote Debugging with Safari on iOS
On iOS, Safari and home-screened apps can be remotely debugged using Safari for Mac OS when the iOS device is physically plugged into the Mac. This allows access to the standard Safari development console.
See the Apple documentation for more information
Exception/Error Collection on Android
Errors can be collected from Android devices by reading the device log using the Android SDK. Once the Android SDK is installed, the logcat command can be used.
See the Google documentation for more information
Writing Debug Messages within the Application
The Telligent Community Mobile client API includes support for rendering debug messages raised by JavaScript. When debugging scripts, it's possible to keep a running debug log using this API:
$.telligent.evolution.mobile.debug(message)
This displays a semi-transparent sheet which visually logs all statements passed to debug(). The sheet can be swiped up or away to show more or fewer messages.
