Some Extensions Moved in V14

Question

Multiple other extensions removed - such as Strip embedded style sheets plugin, user filter user interface, video plugin - was that intentional? What does it mean for them to be removed - or did they get moved somewhere else?

This typically means the functionality is no longer necessary as standalone plugins, or migrated elsewhere as part of core. That video plugin, for example, was in support of a legacy method of rendering videos which is no longer necessary. Community now has built-in file viewers for video as well as transcoding out of the box.
