Image Resizing Quality

I've noticed that the quality of the resized images on the community is now very low quality?

Thank you for the extra context. I can replicate this and have logged it (and already fixed it locally) as TE-19693. 
 The reason it only showed up for some of us is due to whether we were using hi-dpi screens. The image was coincidentally at a size such that when rendered on hi-dpi, it would not be scaled, but would be scaled for low-dpi. And the scaling is using a non-optimal resampling algorithm.
