Ideas - Browse Ideations : Configuration

Purpose

Displays a browse control to view all ideations on the site.

Where it works

This widget works on just about any page in the community.

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the Ideas - Browse Ideations widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Show Ideation Name - Check box to display.
6. Show Ideation Group Name - Check box to display.
7. Show Idea Count - Check box to display.
8. Show Latest Idea Date - Check box to display.
9. Show data from Group and all Subgroups - Check box to display.
10. Number of results to display - Define the number of Ideas to display. Default = 20
11. Sort Order - Select one of the following:
    • By name
    • By idea count
    • By date
    • Custom order
      • Include Ideations - Select and organize the Ideations to be displayed.
12. Include current group's name in Title (Title must be a formatted string with a {0} placeholder) - Check box to display.
13. Click Save Page.
14. Click Publish when complete.
