Purpose
Enhances the page to better support embedding within an external iframe.
Where it works
This widget works on just about any page on the site.
Configuration
Place and configure the widget
- Click Pencil Icon > Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
- Select and place the Site - IFrame Embedding widget on the page
- Click on
in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears. - You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
- Hide Header - When checked, hides theme headers on the embedded page.
- Hide Footer - When checked, hides theme footers on the embedded page.
- Enable Frame Embedding - When checked, overrides the site-wide X-FRAME-OPTIONS header to enable embedding.
- Redirect to Host Page - When checked, if a host URL is defined on the querystring via the 'url' parameter and the page is not hosted within a frame, users will be redirected to the host's URL.
- Background Color - Background color of the embedded page.
- Link Target - Any link clicked within the IFRAME will open in this named target window. The default, "_parent", opens links in the window of the page including this IFRAME to make links within this IFRAME function as they would if they were rendered directly in the parent page.
- Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
- Click Publish when complete.
