Forums - Ask a Question : Configuration

Description

Purpose

Creates or finds an existing question thread for search terms.

Where this widget works

By default, this widget works only on a forum page. Using the Widget Studio [Available Context] can be modified to expand or limit availability. 

Configuration

Place and configure the widget

1. Click Pencil Icon >  Manage [Site/Group] Theme > Edit this Page
2. Select and place the Forums - Ask a Question widget on the page
3. Click on  in the widget menu bar. The configuration dialog appears.
4. You can change the title of this widget by replacing the text in the Widget Title box.
5. Suggested Content - Content matching the question found in other content of the types checked will be presented with forum-related suggestions.

6. Load Suggested Content From - Select groups from which to load suggested content. If no groups are selected, it will search the current forum and then content across the entire community could be suggested.
7. Click Save to exit the configuration dialog.
8. Click Publish when complete.
