The Applications page is part of the site configuration workflow. Telligent Community Server supports the following applications and features:
When you disable an application site wide, you restrict user access to the application at the site root level so that only administrators have access to it, while users do not. Users will see a page informing them that the page no longer exists. The navigation links to the applications, which are normally displayed in the browser address bar, will also not be visible. If a post in the newly disabled application appears in the activity stream, the link will still be visible. However when it's clicked, the link displays the application no longer exists page.
To enable or disable all instances of an application site wide:
-
Navigate to Control Panel > System Administration > Site Administration > Site Configuration > Setup > Applications.
-
Locate the application(s) you want to change (e.g., blogs), and select Yes to enable the application or No to disable it.
-
Click Save to apply the settings.
