Pinned Post in Activity Feed

Question

Hi there, 
 Every now and again we have an announcement that we want to highlight in the Activity feed. 
 Is there a way that Admins could "pin" posts to leave them at the top of the activity stream and make sure the message gets to anyone visiting the community stream? 
 Perhaps something like this:

Alternatively you can use the Featured Content Caroussel function. Sticky topics are only used in Forums

Hi Charlene van Niekerk thank you for the question! 
 As Wilfried Rijsemus (3sides) mentions, we do have sticky topics, but it is used in forums only at this time. 
 Another option is what is described here: Announcement pinned across all pages Instead of putting the Generic Content widget in the header, you could put it just above the activity stream.
