Replying to the post via email creating a new thread

what do you mean by set up an individual account for the specific mailing list. An account where? Actually, I dont understand the rest of your instruction either. A mailbox that matches the mailing address of the forum? What? Tears hair out.

BTW, i have the catchall set up in google  as follows:

And when I email allmail@vetsurgeon.org or anyoldrubbsh@vetsurgeon.org they both arrive safely in the gmail box. So that part is working apparently. 

And now they have both vanished which makes me think telligent must have picked them up, because I havent deleted them. 

I'm not familiar with the google domain email management system, but I assume you can create new addresses there? Can you create a new address that matches the name of your forum mailing list: [forum.name]@vetsurgeon.org. Then add that account under Admin > Site > Email Options > Incoming Mail Accounts with the same host/protocol as the catchall, just with the new name and pw. If something is going wrong with the routing of the catchall mailbox, setting up a specific mailing list address could work around that and shed light on what the issue might be.

dear oh dear. Nope. Not that either. Just set up a new account and replied to a forum thread, and once again, it created a new thread. Looking at the event thing it just says the email was processed. I am pissing lots of people off testing this thing. On the verge of giving up, and just accepting that it has some sort of bug, and telling that group to go and find a home elsewhere. Like facebook, where everyone has gone these days!

Hi Arlo, thank you for sticking in there so long on this! I recommend opening a support ticket on this topic, in fact I'll do that for you now so we can take a look more in depth. Michael Kelley The community is great for general questions, but when we need to look at a specific environment, support is the best path.

Also - highly recommend not testing in a group with others, if at all possible, so you don't anger them. Better to set up a private group and test there.

Grant Pankonien Frustrating - because I had an email the other day saying support ticked had been updated. But very small text and no clear instruction as to what to do next. Then today, as I am still having this problem, I went o go and look at teh support update again and I see that it says someone wants to review the issue with me. But again, no instruction as to how to reply, or what to do. So I click the TINY link at the foot of the email, and now it wants me to log into microsoft teams, but not clear with which account, because I didnt submit the case via microsoft teams in the first place. ARRRGGGGGHHH. Someone shoot me. Perhaps you could ask Mike Kelly to email me, as I dont know how else to contact him. And you really should look at the wording on the support ticket emails that go out.

Very sorry to hear of the frustrations, Arlo! Typically just clicking reply in your mail client of choice will take care of getting a response back to us, no links to click! I will review this and update as I am able. I saw Mike reach out via direct email as well.
