See number of replies to ideas via API

Question

Sorry if I am missing it, but is there a way in the JSON response of a call to the REST API endpoint to know how many replies an idea has received? I have examined the API documentation and performed a test but am still struggling.

To get the number of comments, use the comments API: https://community.telligent.com/community/10/w/api-documentation/61485/list-comment-rest-endpoint (list for the idea's ContentId from the Idea API and ContentTypeId and review the TotalCount response). The ContentTypeId for ideas is a constant " fb5d84b1-0a57-4544-8a7a-45dafc1faa43". 
 To get the number of votes, review the value of TotalVotes on the show response from the Idea API: https://community.telligent.com/community/10/w/api-documentation/61640/show-idea-rest-endpoint
