I'm trying to create a rule where an email is sent to user [if] they upload a profile photo/avatar or not. I haven't been able to find any config for this in the if statements. Is this possible?
If not, I'm wondering about a workaround. The intention is to 1. remind someone to upload a profile photo and 2. use that action to inform a second email.
It may be possible to detect the absence of a customized avatar using the User: Avatar URL, though I'm not sure offhand whether that would result in an empty field or the default avatar's URL.
However, the trickier part will be the 48 hour delay until the next action is taken. While it's more involved, a workaround for the latter could be to perform this process via an external integration using webhooks (for being notified of new users) and the REST API for retrieving data about the user avatar and sending a message to the user.
Thank you for the response. I have to go follow-up on the comment that was made into an idea.I'm realizing that Telligent has many blockers for trying to accomplish the onboarding sequence I'm building so have put this on hold and looking at using a marketing email tool and integrating data from the community to that.
