Overview

The Verint MCP Connector securely connects your Verint Community to AI workspaces that support remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) services with OAuth — letting Community Managers search, review, create, and update supported community content using natural-language requests, all while preserving each user's own Verint identity and permissions.

Security at a glance: The connector always operates as the Verint user who signs in during OAuth. A user can never use the connector to access or change content their own Verint account isn't already permitted to touch, and AI clients can prompt for approval before any action runs.

• Search & Read — Search supported Verint content, retrieve content by URL or identifier, resolve Verint URLs to the content they represent, and review the connected community and authenticated-user context, all through natural-language prompts.
• Create & Update — Create a forum thread, reply to a thread, comment on supported non-thread content, create a blog post, and create or update a wiki page — directly from the connected AI workspace. (Note: this release does not include deletion tools.)
• Works With Your AI Workspace — Primary tested experiences are the ChatGPT Work/Codex unified desktop app and Claude Cowork (both Team/Enterprise and Individual Pro/Max plans supported).
• Flexible Hosting — Works with both customer-hosted and Verint-hosted environments; deployed as a Verint plugin.
• Configurable to Your Community — Admins describe their community's terminology, key locations (forums, groups, applications), and workflows once, so the AI workspace responds using the right names, links, and working practices from day one.

The Verint MCP Connector removes that context-switch: managers can search, read, and publish supported community content directly from the AI tool they already work in, using plain language, without giving up Verint's existing governance and permission model.

1. Can the connector access content I'm not allowed to see?

No — it strictly enforces your existing Verint permissions via OAuth.

2. Does it support deleting content?

Not in the current version available.

3. What AI tools does it work with?

ChatGPT Work/Codex desktop app and Claude Cowork.

4. What's included with purchase?

Initial installation and configuration of a Verint Plugin, and documentation, including basic prompts to get you started. Additional customization is available through a Managed Services support contract with Social Edge Consulting.

5. Does the MCP Connector store my community data outside of Verint?

This connector does not copy or extract your data from your Verint community. Community content stays on Verint and is not indexed outside of Verint.
