This points-based automation will give points to an author when their content is upvoted.  If the upvote is removed the points will be removed as well.

This automation will run for the following content types:

1. Forum Threads
2. Forum Replies
3. Comments

1. To import this automation please follow the documentation listed here: https://community.telligent.com/community/11/w/user-documentation/62977/how-do-i-configure-automations-for-my-community
2. You will then click on "Automations" above the Automation Studio tab and click "Add"
3. For the "Type of Automation" drop down, select "When content is upvoted"
4. Configure the automation as shown below, enable it, and click save!

Setting up the Point Configuration

1. Navigate to the Administration area of your community
2. Select “Membership”
3. Select “Points”
4. Choose “Add” at the top
5. For the Award/Revoke Automation choose “When content is upvoted”
6. Select the content types you want the automation to award points for:
   1. Forum Threads
   2. Forum Replies
   3. Comments
7. Enter the number of points you’d like members to receive
8. Enter the Title, Description, and make sure Enabled is checked
9. Click save!

Points Configuration
