This automation will award points to the content author once a certain threshold of likes has been met on an individual piece of content.  If the number of likes drops below the threshold the points will be removed.

This automation also requires a modification to the out-of-the-box automation named "When content is liked".  This is required due to the way the platform handles the removal of points when content is un-liked.

Setup Instructions

1. Navigate to Administration -> Membership
2. Select "Points" and click the "Add" button at the top of the page
3. Select the "When content is liked a specific number of times give author a set of number of points" automation

 Configuration Options

• Types of content
  
  • What types of content you want this automation to be executed against.
• Award points to
  
  • This is set to the content author
• Ignore likes created by the content author
  
  • This is set to true by default to ensure authors aren't manipulating point totals
• Number of Likes
  
  • The number of likes the content needs to receive in order to trigger the points addition
• Points
  
  • The number of points that will be awarded when the Number of Likes configured above are met.
• Title
  
  • The title of this automation
• Description
  
  • The description of the automation.  This is also shown on the point transaction history page.
