Automation to email role members when a term is mentioned

This automation will email the role of your choosing when the terms you define are mentioned within content.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the zip file and unzip the contents. The contents of the zip file should contain a single xml file with the name EmailRoleMembersWhenATermIsMentioned-Automation.xml

2. Deploy the automation script, EmailRoleMembersWhenATermIsMentioned-Automation.xml. The following video demonstrates how to deploy a script:

3. Create a rule using the automation script. The following video demonstrates how to create a rule. The example shown here is a rule that subscribes members to the Blog(s) and Event(s) applications for both the Customer Advisory group and the Partners group.

Hi. I must be missing something here. I downloaded the XML file, (not a ZIP file as described) and imported it into the automation studio and created an automation to use it including some terms and a role and created a test post in our forums as well as tips and info and no email is sent.

We are on v12.1.3.23006. What am I doing wrong?

Never mind...it is just an example but it confused me. I did not see the top image.

Is it me or is this the wrong information? The title of this page is "Automation to email role members when a term is mentioned" but the instruction is about subscribing members to a group applications. Its friday afternoon so my brain may be fried.
