Ability to include any page in a different page

Because of the rigid group structure you have to sometimes put in events in multiple places or content.

It would be good if you can repeat content from somewhere else in a page by simply using an Include statement

  • offered a great example by referencing Facebook. Look at the utility behind allowing people to "share" content from one group/wall/profile where it has value and reaches targeted individuals, allowing people to "share" this content extends the reach and allows content owners, or others, to reference the source content in other places where it would offer value to another group of users.

Jive had this feature and we used it quite regularly. I outlined some specifics on their "Share" tool and their execution of it over here: https://community.telligent.com/community/10/f/ask-the-community/1145754/sharing-or-cross-posting-content-across-different-groups/1601930#1601930

Another use case for this is when a community newb posts a question in the wrong group (based on the way a community team has structured the community). Community managers could first MOVE the content to the more appropriate group, and then SHARE it back to the group where it was originally posted by community member. By so doing, the community managers help increase the exposure of the content to the right people, thus optimizing the connection between community members and community content.
