All of the post-installation configuration of the Mobile Application Builder are defined in XML configuration files within the Resources/ folder of the Mobile Application Builder server components. One or more configuration files can be defined and each configuration file can contain:
- Pages of widgets.
- URL Mappings to enable automatic routing of links in content to the mobile app.
- Global Stylesheets
- Custom Widget Extensions
Each file must have a .XML file extension. The format of each file should be:
<scriptedContentFragment ... />
<page ... />
<entityUrl ... />
<styleSheet ... />
<embeddedFile ... />
<extension ... />
Only the <resources /> node is required. All other sub-nodes are optional. This packaging format allows entire extensions (calendar support, for example) to be deployed in a single configuration file or separated into files containing just widgets, just pages, etc.
The Mobile Application Builder monitors the Resources/ folder for changes, so changes are applied immediately when deployed into this folder.
