According to the Latest and Past date events should filter.

Hi ,

There is one scenario in which the category of events(Upcoming and Past ) should fall according to their dates.

For example : Latest date event should come under upcoming events and oldest one should come in Past events , and  when the upcoming event will complete it will be no more upcoming event and that event should come under Past event so in this case what approach should apply here?

  • Hi there!

    To clarify, in our system, upcoming is currently happening/future events, and past means they have completed. Are you experiencing something different?

    I look forward to helping!

  • Correct.  I wanted to know how to find the current date with which i can compare the start date of the event. so that i can apply the logic and according to the dates , start date of the event is greater than the current date then it should fall under upcoming and the oldest one should come under past.

    Thanks.

  • I want to add few more things here :

    1. I am getting the date by making it as Extended attritube.

    #if($extatrr.key == 'userStartDate')
    #set($userStartDate = $extatrr.value)
    #end

    #if($extatrr.key == 'userEndDate')
    #set($userEndDate = $extatrr.value)
    #end

    2. Searched for current date and i got this :

    #set($stringResponse = $calendar_v1_urls.Current())

    Do you know any other approach? To compare the start date with the current date?

    3. I am assuming one more thing, Is the Server date is the current date?

    #set($dateTimeResponse = $calendar_v1_UI.AdjustForServerTime($userTime))
