Solr changes in 11.0

In Verint Community 11.0, we’ve upgraded our internal usage of Solr from 6.2 to 7.6. For more information on what has changed, check Lucene's documentation:

Major changes in Solr 7.0 compared to other major versions.
Solr 7.6 Upgrade Notes including changes since 7.0.
Full Solr changelog including all changes in all versions.

The most noticeable additional feature in relation to Community is the usage of [[Synonyms]], which is explained in detail on its own page.

Configuration Changes

This upgrade comes with updates to solr schema and configuration files for both Telligent search cores. If you’ve modified these files, you’ll need to diff and merge your changes with the updates to the out-of-the-box versions.
