How do I add or upload a file to a media gallery?

There are a couple ways to upload files to a media gallery: Drag-and-drop or view the new button:

Drag and Drop

First, navigate to the media gallery into which you want to add a file. Select a file from your computer, drag it onto the page, and when the drag-and-drop message appears, drop it:

Using the New Button

Navigate to the media gallery into which you want to add a file or link, click New:

Specify details about the file or URL:

File or Website: Either enter a URL or click Upload file to select a file from your computer/device.
Name: The name of the file.
Other fields: The other fields are optional but can be used to further explain the purpose of the file, tag it, subscribe to it, and adjust SEO options.

When you're done detailing the file, click Post.
