How can I start or stop the job service?

Telligent Job Service runs as a background service in Windows. The service itself can be started or stopped using the Windows Services application using the procedures below for troubleshooting or other purposes. Note that the Job Service's log (errors.log) is turned on by default and is located in the Job Service folder. The log starts or stops when Job Service itself is started or stopped.

Start the Telligent Job Service

In Windows, navigate to Start > Run.
In the Run text box, type services.msc and press Enter on the keyboard. The services window appears.
In the Name column, locate Telligent Job Service.
Right-click the job and select Start.

Stop the Telligent Job Service

In Windows, navigate to Start > Run.
In the text box, type services.msc and press Enter on the keyboard. The services window appears.
In the Name column, locate Telligent Job Service.
Right-click the job and select Stop.
