Verint Community supports tight integration and extensibility using .net code installed directly within the platform to provide the most flexibility and speed. Integrated applications are implemented using plugins that make use of the Verint Community In-Process APIs.

[[Plugins]]

[[Plugins]] are .net classes implementing the Verint Community-defined IPlugin interface and it's sub-types. Plugins are enabled through the administration UI and support tight integration with Verint Community platform services.

[[In-Process API]]

The [[In-Process API]] is a .net-based set of APIs exposed by Verint Community to enable [[Plugins|plugins]] to directly interact with the platform and handle platform-defined events.
