After five failed login attempts on an account or a number of incorrect attempts over a specified period, Telligent Community locks out the account login for five (or a specified number of) minutes.
To unlock a user account:
- Navigate to Control Panel > System Administration > Membership Administration > Members and Roles > Manage Users > (user name) > Edit.
- The user's Admin tab appears.
- Locate the yellow alert field ("This account has been locked due to a high number of incorrect password attempts").
- Click Unlock on the yellow field. The yellow alert turns green and the user account becomes unlocked. The user's ability to log into the site is now restored.
