I want to use links to the idea list filtered by stage - can't seem to do it

Users are not noticing the filters at the top of the ideas list widget on the "feature requests" pages for our products and aren't clear on what our idea stages mean. We wanted to include a generic content widget with some information about the meaning of each stage and a link to filter the list for that stage. When you filter, it does seem to create a link that has this at the end:

/feature-requests#pifragment-8777status=in_progress

But that link is not durable once the page is published...it resolves and removes the fragment, with the URL ending this way:

/feature-requests

Is there any way to trick Telligent into leaving the fragment in place and using this URL? Thanks for any wisdom you can share.

The link examples were resolving in the question post, so I fixed them.

  • Unfortunately this appears to be a bug with our handling of local site urls (ie links within the site). I'm logging this for our team to review.

One workaround would be to create a wiki page with your explanation and put the links there - wiki pages should correctly maintain the hash portion of the url. Then you could link to that wiki page from the custom widget on the ideas page. I know it's an extra step but it should give the correct urls at least.
