Running on 10.1. Encountered twice this week that a blog post made by a member, once featured by the owner, can no longer be edited by the member. Is this by design? Can this be circumvented or is this a bug?

Running on 10.1. Encountered twice this week that a blog post made by a member, once featured by the owner, can no longer be edited by the member. Is this by design? Can this be circumvented or is this a bug?
Just to confirm, the user sees the edit button? Are they getting an orange toast message when trying to save it after making changes?
Indeed. The logic seems to be that when the Blog gets featured, the blog poster can no longer publish and edit. Ironically s/he can make the edits but not safe them. This leads to immediate fury as sometimes they take the trouble to modify it and then at the very last moment the effort gets lost
I'm able to recreate this issue. Unfortunately, the only workarounds would be to grant blog post authors the feature content permissions, or to unfeature the blog post and then feature it after the blog post has been modified.
