When in a blog, go to [pencil icon] > Manage Blog Theme > Manage Default Blog Theme.
HI Michael. One other question. How do we edit the default site layout In 10.1, the default starts off as a setup page with the check boxes to add applications. Although we have a default group page, when I click on Manage default theme it goes to that set up page and not the actual default page. Thanks.
If you see the group setup widget on the default group homepage, that is the current default. Any edits made here will affect the default group homepage, though, removing the setup widget will prevent it from allowing group setup (you'll need to use the management options to add applications to a new group)
Hi. What I'm trying to understand is how the final default page layout can be customized. I tried editing the default group theme. It opens to a blank page with the header and the setup widget. Editing that page doesn't seem to do anything but change the look of the set up page. I need to change the look for the page after the setup.
When editing the default group home page, for example, any new group and any existing group that hasn't already customized their homepage will use the default. Note that the group setup widget will always cause groups created with it to have a customized home page (its created based on the options selected and causes the setup widget to go away with the transition from rendering the default group homepage (which has the setup widget) to the customized version created by the setup widget).
