Hello Community, I am pretty new to Telligent, and so I am not sure if this is an OOTB feature or I have to create a rule for this. I have two different accounts open and I sent a friend request from my test account to the admin account (top photo)
The admin account can see that the request was made but there is no notification in the top bar (bottom).Any suggestions if I did the install incorrectly or I just have to create a rule to send a notification.Thanks, Jeremy
First, ensure that the "Someone requests by friendship" notification is enabled for the admin account. Go to the user avatar menu in the banner > Settings > Notifications > Activity from your network, and review the configuration of "Someone requests by friendship". Specifically, ensure that the live alert (at least) is enabled.
Hi Ben, thanks for responding. Yes all notifications are already set to enabled, but still no notifications.

Do you recall if you had changed the top-level group from "Joinless" to "Public Open"? There is a known issue that negatively affects friendship requests when this change is made (fixed in 10.1.7).
