It is my understanding that Telligent Community is software with a variety of mechanisms that are specific to the software, and thus, there are certain types of specific data that will not be passed to Google Analytics by default (even after you've put the tracking code they've provided into your group).
I am not currently aware of any out-of-the-box Telligent Community features that are designed to interact with, or provide data to, Google Analytics.
- Is there an already-existing means of recording the use of specific Telligent Community features? For example: clicking the "Download" button on an uploaded document or clicking on "Like".
- Are there features that pass data to Google Analytics or some other 3rd party tool?
Right now, I'm using the tracking code provided by Google, of course, and then some custom JavaScript code for my group, but I don't want to "re-invent the wheel" if someone's already invented it.
