Save 'Profile fields' and 'Profile field groups' to push to different environments

You can export the User Profile page and then import it to another environment, or you could export your whole site theme and import it to the other environment to include changes to all site theme pages.

Hi Mathew, yeah I have tried that. It's updated the Profile User page to have the new IDs that were created for 'Profile Users Group', but as they don't exist they don't show.

Telligent have provided some additional information, which has created additional questions.

Telligent have confirmed that we would need to push the database across the environments to add the new 'Profile fields' and 'Profile field groups'. Pushing the full database isn't a viable option as it will potentially overwrite UAT/live content.

Telligent have suggested that we would need to person some sort of stored procedure just to pull the appropriate data from the database.

Currently investigating to see how that is possible.

Who told you it would require the database or stored procedure?   We don't support querying or manipulating the core community data in any fashion so that recommendation should not have come from Telligent.

The correct way to move/create fields in an automated fashion is through an API, REST being the most appropriate
