I am wondering if other users have successfully hosted TC on GoDaddy.com using their Windows-based hosting.

It would have to be a Virtual machine, and a virtual machine that met the specs required to run the software. It also requires multiple VMs for search, jobs and SQL. Generally trying to run the software effectively in a hosting environment like that may not perform very well nor be very cost effective to achieve the minimum software requirements.
I am hosting TC 10 in a Virtual Machine, running on a standalone PC. I pretty much run everything on the same VM: Windows OS, web/app server ((IIS), database server (MSSQL), search server (TC Search), Job Scheduler, the whole enchilada. I even use VirtualBox 5 as "hypervisor". Runs pretty smooth and fast. I made sure that the PC has multiple CPU cores, bit of RAM, and SSD storage. That's basically it. I agree with Mason that you need at least a virtual machine for hosting. That should not be too difficult.
As long as its understood, for any community of size this configuration is not recommended. As traffic increases the platform requires more powerful servers performing more isolated duties.
I should add that my setup is basically a proof-of-concept to demonstrate the look-and-feel and capabilities of TC10. As soon as we go into production, my VM is exploded into functional components by the IT department. They virtualize each functional component separately.
